OUR OWNER: MEET MEGAN CROSBY
Megan G. Crosby has been working with individuals on the Autism spectrum for most of her life. At 9 years old, she lived in Mandeville, Louisiana and was blessed to be given a younger brother named Matthew. In the coming years, he would be diagnosed with PDD-NOS (Pervasive Developmental Delay-not otherwise specified) and the family dynamics would change in a dramatic way.
Megan and the rest of the immediate family would take steps to help Matthew develop and reach his highest potential possible. He took part in a range of therapies and received in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Behavior Analysts trained everyone in the family to use behavioral techniques and interventions. Realizing how beneficial the ABA field was, Megan pursued higher education in this field.
Using her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M in Special Education, Megan taught in Katy ISD for 4 years. Her experiences ranged from providing in-class support with general education teachers to teaching in a self-contained early childhood program targeting early learners on the Autism spectrum.
After receiving a Master’s degree from Sam Houston State University, Megan became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She then began to establish a home-based agency, Crosby Learning Solutions, LLC. The agency specializes in providing individualized therapy for a wide range of clients having varying levels of academic and social skills.
Now, as the director of Crosby Learning Solutions, LLC, many families are served throughout the Katy, Cypress, and the northwest Houston area. Megan currently resides in Hockley, Texas with her husband and two young sons. When not working with families, she enjoys CrossFit, all things Disney, and returning home to Louisiana to visit extended relatives.

My favorite skill to teach the kids would be learning just to have fun and play. I feel like this is an important skill for great brain function and structure. It allows me to have fun, while building on many different skills without the kids knowing they are actually doing work.
